Hi Tom,

I that we need to move the meeting to Thursday. The new plan is very good, the old one was also good.

Can you send me the slides Wednesday? Then we can together.

Thanks,

Natural, not just correct

Say it the way native speakers do

Grammar checkers stop at “correct”. But a sentence can be correct and still sound translated. Naturally notices those phrases too, and shows what a native speaker would write.

  • You wroteI made a photo of the sunset.

Sounds naturalI took a photo of the sunset.

In English you take a photo.

  • You wroteIt depends from the weather.

Sounds naturalIt depends on the weather.

    “Depend” goes with “on”.

  • You wroteWe need to discuss about the plan.

Sounds naturalWe need to discuss the plan.

    “Discuss” needs no “about”.

  • You wroteShe is married with a doctor.

Sounds naturalShe is married to a doctor.

    You’re married “to” someone.

Features

More than a grammar checker

Fix today’s email, sound more natural tomorrow, and make fewer of the same mistakes next month.

Underlines as you type

Red for grammar and spelling, blue when a native speaker would say it differently, a purple dotted line when the logic doesn’t add up.

Make it sound natural

Select text and press ⌃⌥R. “Natural” rewrites it the way a native speaker would say it, keeping your meaning. Formal, Friendly and Shorter too.

Practice real conversations

Role-play a job interview, a standup or small talk. Each answer gets a more natural version and a score for how natural it sounds.

Learn why, then practice

“Explain more” gives the rule with a new example. The mistakes you repeat come back as short practice and 5-minute lessons.

Notes for your first language

When your first language is the reason a phrase sounds off, the card says so. Hand-written notes for 15 languages.

The right tone for each app

What sounds natural in Slack sounds odd in an email. Casual in chat apps, so “tmrw” is fine; neutral or formal everywhere else.

Your writing never leaves your Mac.

Most grammar checkers send what you type to their servers. Naturally checks everything on your Mac, with grammar rules and an AI model that come with the app.

  • No cloud. Your text isn’t sent anywhere, not even to us.
  • Works offline, on a plane or on a slow connection.
  • Skips private apps. Terminals and password managers are never read.
  • Your progress stays local. The learning log on your Mac keeps short snippets of your mistakes, nothing more.

When can I try it?

We’re polishing the first version now. Join the waitlist and you’ll be among the first to get it.

How much will it cost?

Pricing isn’t final yet. People on the waitlist will hear about it first.

Does it work offline?

Yes. The grammar rules and the AI model run on your Mac, so it works without an internet connection and your text never leaves your computer.

Which Macs does it run on?

Macs with Apple silicon (M1 or newer) running macOS 13 Ventura or later. It needs about 3 GB of disk space for the AI model. Intel Macs and Windows aren’t supported.

Why does it ask for Accessibility permission?

macOS only lets an app read the text field you’re typing in, and draw underlines on top of it, after you allow Accessibility access. Naturally reads only the field you’re typing in, and never reads terminals or password managers.

Will it make me sound like a native speaker?

It gets you closer every day. Besides real mistakes, it flags phrases that are correct but sound translated and suggests what native speakers usually say. ⌃⌥R rewrites a selection in a natural style, and Practice chat scores how natural your answers sound. The more you write, the more of it becomes your own.

How is it different from other grammar checkers?

It’s built for people learning English. It goes past “correct” to “natural”, explains the rule behind each fix, notes when your first language is the reason, and helps you practice the mistakes you repeat. And it does all of it on your Mac, without uploading your writing.

What if an app doesn’t show underlines?

Some apps don’t tell macOS where each word is on screen. There, a badge shows how many issues the field has, and you can select text and press ⌃⌥G to check it in any app.
